Important announcement
Sadly due to the amount of new work and repeat business coming into the office we are unable to offer high schools our ks 3 and 4 issue based workshops/productions. Our increased workload means that we will be unable to devote the amount of time and resources on these productions as we would like to.All enquiries regarding these productions shall be passed onto another theatre company that we recommend. We sincerely hope you will understand that we are not willing to sacrifice our high standards.

Shakespeare
From mid January to Easter our teams of actors tour nationwide to secondary schools a Shakespeare production chosen by the Q.C.A. for SAT's study, these spring productions contain the two scenes chosen by the Q.C.A. for SAT's examinations. The demand for our spring productions has risen dramatically over the past two years and it is therefore advisable to book early to secure your preferable date and time.

Our autumn/winter teams tour nationwide from September through to the end of term in December a production for G.C.S.E. study. Again it is advisable to book early as spaces for this season go very quickly.

We pride ourselves in the fact that although our Shakespeare productions are condensed to accommodate school timetables the integrity of his writing and the beauty of his verse and prose is never compromised. Over the years we have developed a nationally acclaimed format incorporating our plain English speaking narrator to each production.

"Black Cat's touring production of 'The Scottish Play' at The King's School was exciting, passionate and educational. This touring production was educational theatre at its very best".
The North Shields Herald & Post October 99

All our Shakespearean costumes are professionaly made using authentic historical patterns and cut, previous productions have had as many as 18 costume changes in a 75 minute production. All of our productions feature digital sound effects and recordings.

Throughout one year alone our Shakespearean productions will have been seen by over 100,000 students nationwide and our actors will have travelled over 23,000 miles to deliver these shows. These figures increase each year as demand for our productions continues to grow at a rapid pace.
